Sunflower Microgreens
Sunflower is one of the most popular microgreens varieties and for good reason. They have a really nice, succulent texture and a nutty flavor that makes them a delicious main ingredient, or addition for any dish. They can be the bulk of your salads, wraps and sandwiches or add a flavorful crunch to almost anything. We highly recommend adding them to rice noodle dishes and putting them on top of a sourdough bagel with cream cheese.
Because of their awesome nutritional composition, sunflower micros are a complete protein. They have a high level of healthy fats and protein, as well as all eight essential amino acids. Sunflower microgreens contain important vitamins (A, B, C, E, K), minerals (magnesium, zinc, iron, selenium) and antioxidants to fuel your body and well-being.
We grow our microgreens in Browns Summit, North Carolina. To enjoy these micros at peak freshness, we recommend storing them in your refrigerator and eating within 7-10 Days of purchase.
Approximately 1 oz. of sunflower microgreens in a 16 oz. by volume plastic clamshell container.
Orders must be placed by Wednesday at midnight to be picked up the following Friday or Saturday.
